Come meet
Little Scholars

Tour & Information Session · All 8 centers, one Sunday

Come see where your child's mornings could begin this September. On Sunday the 30th all eight of our centers open their doors for 45 minutes with the Director — the classrooms, the playground, the teachers who'd greet your child by name. Bring your little one. Ask us anything. Free, warm, and no pressure at all.

Why families stay

More school than daycare

Eight centers, one standard. Here's what that means on an ordinary Tuesday.

👩‍🏫

Two teachers, always

Five to eight babies in the infant room, ten to twelve in preschool — and never fewer than two teachers in any room.

📚

A real curriculum

Frog Street and Creative Curriculum, the same research-based programs used by the city's best schools, from three months through pre-K.

🏛

DOE-funded 3K & UPK

Licensed by the NYC Department of Education, so a full day of pre-K costs your family nothing. Vouchers welcome at every center.

📱

You'll never wonder

Photos, meals, naps and little moments land on your phone through the day. No guessing until pickup.

A look inside

Ordinary days here

No staged photos — just mornings at Little Scholars. Tap any of them for a closer look.

Eight centers, eight neighborhoods

Find your neighborhood

Seven across Brooklyn, one in Manhattan — each with its own Director, its own rooms, its own personality. Have a look around, peek at their Instagram, and pick a time that suits your Sunday.

Things parents usually ask

Do we need to book ahead?
Please do. We keep the groups small so nobody feels rushed, and knowing you're coming lets the Director have the right details ready for your child's age — which rooms have space, what the day looks like for that group.
What actually happens?
A warm welcome and a folder to take home, a wander through the classrooms with the Director, a proper look at how the days here run, plenty of room for your questions, and a few quiet minutes at the end if you'd like to talk about your own family.
Does it start on time?
It does, since everyone sets off together. Arrive five minutes early and you'll have time to settle in — and your little one time to have a look around.
Can we bring our child?
Yes — please do, and bring the siblings. Honestly, watching your child's face when they walk into the room tells you more than anything we could ever say.
Will we be pushed to sign up?
Not at all. Some families know straight away and like being able to sort it there and then. Others are looking at three or four schools, and that's exactly as it should be. Tell us where you are and we'll be helpful either way.
Is there a cost?
None — it's free, and there's nothing to sign up for.
Do you accept vouchers and subsidies?
We do. Bring your questions about ACS/HRA vouchers or 3K and UPK placement — the Director will walk you through exactly what applies to your family, in plain English.
Can we see more than one center?
Of course — plenty of families do. Visits run back to back, so two nearby centers in one Sunday works nicely if you leave a little travel time. Chelsea and Downtown Brooklyn also run later visits, up to 2:00 PM.
What should I bring?
Just yourselves. If you think you might want to sort things out on the day, having your child's date of birth and a rough start date in mind is handy.
We can't make the 30th — can we still visit?
Absolutely. Every center welcomes visitors on weekdays between 8 AM and 6 PM, and you'll have the Director entirely to yourselves.

Busy on the 30th?

No trouble at all. Every center welcomes visitors on weekdays too — pick yours above and book a private visit with the Director, just you and your child.
